This self-paced course on Asset Recovery in Iraq provides a clear
and practical overview of the asset recovery process within the Iraqi legal
framework.
It covers all key stages from identifying and tracing illicit
assets to freezing, confiscating and returning them to the state.
Designed for public servants in key ministries working on
anti-corruption and financial crime, the course draws on international best
practices and Iraqi laws such as the Criminal Procedure Code, AML-CFT Law No.
39 of 2015 and the Law on the Commission of Integrity.
Participants will gain the tools and legal knowledge to recover
stolen assets and support justice
